Hello...I thought I would start things off here with a new trade I just entered on USD/CAD. You can see here that price has dropped below the balance zone we discussed on the daily review over the last couple of days. Price has now come back up to retest the outer edge of this zone and I was able to get a trade in manually. I have another pending order set a little higher, as I think next week may push a little deeper into this zone. Stop is on the outer perimeter, above the zone.

USD/CAD seems to want to stay inside the weekly balance zone. I have been filled on both the pending orders I laid out in the previous post and have added one more just above the current market.

This market is testing my patience and my resolve. I haven't been stopped out yet, but am not holding out much hope that price will soon go my way. The best I can hope for here is to give me the opportunity to reduce my stop...but its not looking good here.

Hello friends...I have been alerted to a better way to post images here on this forum that will help us all in a number of ways. If you all wouldn't mind to post your screen shots this way I would really appreciate it. When posting an image please do the following: If you have Metatrader: right click on your chart and chose, "save as picture" Select "active chart (as is)...or any of the selections you wish Check the box marked "Post image online..." Click OK If you have another trading software, go to app.prntscr.com/en/download.html and download their simple and easy to use screen capture. Once this is done you will be taken to the photo that is stored on the web...copy the image address and do the following: Click on the button (inside the forum post editor) "insert image" Paste the image address in the field "image URL" Then click insert image. This will help us in a number of ways...(1) it will make the images much bigger so we don't have to go back and forth between the image and any commentary (2) it will save storage space on those images that are not loaded to the forum...and this helps us stay FREE... Thanks for you help!!

Hello All...looking at a new opportunity in the USD/CAD... Looking at the weekly chart, last week's candle closed up in an area (inside the current balance zone) where there before there was only selling. I feel this is significant. The daily chart shows this area was a balance zone in and of itself, and today, price action has taken it above that zone and closed. I have placed my pending long order along the bodies of the intraday balance zone with a stop down below. So we'll see what happens here...We are at 12 year highs here, and for that reason I am running a smaller stop, but the order flow is showing me that buyers are still dominant...

Hello Friends...tracking another opportunity on USD/CAD. This has been a long time coming. The weekly chart is the best view on this trade and I will try to keep the management on that chart. You can see a clear and long drawn out balance zone over the past few months. The week before last price made a new high but could not sustain it, creating a bearing engulfing bar. This last week brought a liquidation move ("whoosh") which has all the longs stopping out. Price is now starting to retest the area inside the large balance zone to find sellers once more. I have placed two pending short orders as you see here and will wait to see which ones trigger.

After last week's post I readjusted the pending entry orders and it looks like USD/CAD shorts are about to trigger...

One of the short position has been triggered and the intraday charts are starting to balance and perhaps pull away from the entry point. So now it is, "sit on my hands" and wait to see what happens in the next couple of days, and then into the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but this trade will be traded and managed on the weekly chart. So updates here may take awhile as things develop.

End of the week has the daily chart ready to close below the low of the previous two days. This meets my standard for moving my stop closer...Stop is now above the high of the week. Remember this is being managed on a weekly time frame...so patience and weekly chart is to be considered.

Hello All Its been a while since I looked in here...I am concerned that no one wanted to post in the time I was absent. It would appear I am talking to myself. Wanted to let you all know of a new opportunity I am tracking on the USD/CAD - Short. We are currently at an 11 year high and price is showing some weakness now as the buying orders have just pooped out. I have been triggered on my first position and am waiting for the second to trigger. Note the clear balance zone formed on the daily chart and then dropped below. Price has now pushed back up to the balance zone and is currently retesting it. Stop is above the balance zone as you can see here.

Update on USD/CAD short: Both positions have now triggered and price seems to be pulling away in the pre US open. Stop remains where it was set originally and I will hold for a 3xR gain.

Another look at this short shows price has moved back to my entry point over night and is now threatening my stop. Hope I don't fall victim to the "FU stop" here.
